Privacy policy

We collect a phone number and your venue’s name and address so we can call you back and tell you whether your kitchen is a fit. Below, in detail: what we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted.

1. Who processes your data

The controller of personal data collected on wirtualnerestauracje.pl is Rebel Tang sp. z o.o., registered at ul. Grzybowska 80/82, 00-844 Warszawa, NIP 5252823123, KRS 0000841477.

For anything concerning personal data, write to [email protected].

2. What data we collect

We collect only what we need in order to call you back and assess the kitchen:

  • From the form: phone number, the venue’s name and address, the page of the site the enquiry was sent from, and the wording and time of your consent to be contacted.
  • From the phone call: notes about the kitchen, its equipment and opening hours.
  • Automatically: IP address, device and browser type, referrer, and data from cookies, to the extent described in the cookie policy. Without your consent we count visits anonymously, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. The PostHog analytics tool does not store your IP address.
  • With consent to analytics cookies: a recording of how your visit went (pages, cursor movement, clicks, scrolling), without what you type into form fields. If you leave your number, we link the history of your visits to your enquiry; the analytics tool then receives only the enquiry’s number, not your phone number.

We do not collect special-category data and we never ask for financial details through the form.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

Purpose Legal basis How long
Commercial contact by phone and SMS after a kitchen enquiry consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and art. 398 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law) until consent is withdrawn, max. 12 months from the last contact if we do not start working together
Discussing cooperation and preparing an agreement necessary to enter into a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) the length of the talks
Performing and settling the cooperation contract and tax obligations (art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR) 5 years from the end of the tax year
Counting visits anonymously, without cookies legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): knowing which content gets read as aggregate statistics, with nothing that identifies you
Statistics, visit recordings and linking visits to an enquiry consent to analytics cookies (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) Google Analytics: event data 2 months, user data 14 months (reset on new activity); PostHog: event data up to 7 years, visit recordings 30 days
Site security and protection against bots legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) as long as needed to detect and block abuse
Defence against claims legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) until the limitation period expires

We run no advertising or remarketing on the site today and use no marketing cookies. If that changes, we will describe it here and in the cookie policy before it starts.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only with the providers that help us run the site and stay in touch with restaurateurs, under data-processing agreements:

  • hosting provider: DigitalOcean LLC (Frankfurt), Cloudflare, Inc.,
  • team messenger: Slack (Slack Technologies, LLC),
  • analytics tools: Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), PostHog (PostHog Inc., EU),

An enquiry from the form is saved in the site’s admin panel and passed to Rebel APP, our own sales system running on our hosting provider’s servers, which assigns it to a salesperson. The team gets a notice about it in a messenger, with the venue’s name and address but not the phone number. We look the venue up in the OpenStreetMap and Google Maps map services, which receive only the venue’s name and address, with no contact details.

We do not sell data. We do not pass your phone number to third parties for their own marketing.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some tools (Google Analytics, Google Maps, Slack, Cloudflare) may process data outside the EEA, mainly in the United States. This happens under the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it, and otherwise under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. You can ask for a copy of those safeguards by writing to [email protected].

6. Your rights

At any time you can:

  • ask for access to your data and a copy of it,
  • have inaccurate data corrected,
  • ask for erasure or for processing to be restricted,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • move your data to another controller,
  • withdraw consent, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

One message to [email protected] is enough. We answer without undue delay, and within one month at the latest. If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

In short

Write “delete my number” to [email protected]. We remove it from the system and stop calling. You do not have to give a reason.

7. Is providing data mandatory

No. Giving us a phone number and your venue’s name and address is voluntary, but without them we cannot call you back, and that is the only thing the form asks for.

8. Profiling and automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone. Kitchens are qualified by a person, after a phone call and a consultation. If you consent to analytics cookies and leave your number, we can see which pages of the site were visited before the enquiry was sent. It helps us prepare the call; no automated decision follows from it.

9. Security

The site runs over HTTPS only. Only authorised people can see enquiries, each through their own password-protected account. We keep the data in managed databases in a Frankfurt data centre, with automatic backups.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we process data, we will publish a new version with the date it takes effect. Previous versions are available on request. This version applies from 9 October 2026.

Cookie policy

A short account of which files we store on your device, what they tell us and how to change your consent at any time.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit the site. They let the page remember your consent choices, and they tell us which articles get read and where traffic comes from. Cookies do not contain your phone number or the name of your venue.

The same rules apply to the browser storage (localStorage) we use for similar purposes. Files essential to the site are stored without asking; everything else only with your consent (art. 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law).

2. What we store

Essential cookies always work, because without them the site does not. Analytics cookies only switch on once you accept them. We do not use marketing cookies today.

Name Category What it does Lifetime
wr_consent Essential remembers your choices in the cookie banner (with a copy in browser storage) 12 months
__cf_bm Essential protects the site against bots, set by our provider Cloudflare 30 minutes
wr_preview Essential editorial preview of unpublished content, never set for visitors 1 hour
_ga, _ga_8DPSP9RT1H Analytics (Google Analytics) tells visits apart and measures which articles are read up to 2 years
ph_…_posthog Analytics (PostHog) tells visits apart, records how a visit goes and links visits to an enquiry up to 1 year

Without consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics does not load at all, and PostHog counts visits with no cookies and nothing stored on your device. Once you consent, PostHog sets a cookie and a browser storage entry of the same name (ph_…_posthog) and remembers your consent in browser storage as wr_ph_consent. Beyond those listed, the site sets no cookies.

3. How to change your consent

You can change your consent at any time, without giving a reason. We store your choices for 12 months and then ask again.

You can also delete and block cookies in your browser settings. If you block all of them, the cookie banner may appear on every visit.

4. Who can see cookie data

Analytics data is processed by the tool providers listed in the privacy policy; section 3 of that policy says how long it is kept.

  • The consultation is free and does not mean you have been accepted. We may decline to work together without giving a reason.

4. Rules for using the site

All you need is a device with an up-to-date browser with JavaScript enabled and an internet connection. The site may not be used to send unlawful content, to attempt to circumvent its security, or to scrape content for republication elsewhere.

Using the internet carries the usual risks, such as malware or messages impersonating well-known companies (phishing). We never ask for passwords or payment details. If someone impersonates us, write to [email protected].

5. Copyright

The text, photographs, marks and layout of the site are protected by copyright and belong to Rebel Tang sp. z o.o. or are used under licence. You may quote extracts from articles with a credit and a link. Copying whole texts requires permission.

Send anything about how the site works to [email protected]. We reply within 14 days. Complaints about orders placed in delivery apps are handled in those apps, not here.

7. Personal data

How we process data is described in the privacy policy, and our use of cookies in the cookie policy.

8. Changes and final provisions

We may change these terms by publishing a new version with the date it takes effect. This version applies from 9 October 2026. Matters not covered here are governed by Polish law. Disputes are heard by the court with jurisdiction over the registered office of Rebel Tang sp. z o.o.; for consumers, by the court determined under the general rules.
